Local lad from Kinghorn thanks in advance x Big Bons Fund Mission Statement On the 1 June 2013, Russell Bonnar (31) and his fiancée Lindsay Rose were on holiday in Cyprus after attending a wedding. Russell and several of their friends decided to hire quad bikes. Sadly, Russell and Lindsay were involved in an accident and the impact caused him to sustain a head injury that has resulted in him receiving continued treatment in Intensive Care in the Nicosia General Hospital. Although he was wearing a crash helmet, because of specific clauses within his policy, his travel insurance company will not pay for Russell’s continued medical costs and for those costs incurred by his family as they stay in Nicosia to support him. Big Bons Fund is dedicated to aiding the recovery of our dearest relative and friend. The fund is administered by two of Russell’s relatives and a close personal friend. Our goal is to raise funds to help towards: • Continued costs incurred by his family as they support his recovery in Nicosia • Repatriation when his condition is stable enough • Rehabilitation costs • On-going expenses incurred as Russell strives to return to a routine, normal life Full accounts will be made available upon request and any expenditure from the fund must be approved, in writing beforehand, by all three administrators.
