This is one of the best articles I have read in a long time. We need to start changing the messages we send to our children. The pinnacle of a womans life is not the day she gets married. Her self worth is not defined by whether she has a ring on her finger or a baby in her arms. Men are not wild animals that have to be trapped into a marriage, and women are not running around with a clock in their head trying to lock one down to procreate. We are all (men and women) so much more than this. We are a culmination of our experiences and our self worth is not marked by whether we are in a committed relationship or have children. We have to start changing our language if we want to change our world.
