This is our beautiful girl Zeena. She is a South African Mastiff (Boerboel). We saved her from the West Palm Beach Animal shelter the day she was supposed to be euthanized on 9/11. Her only crime was that her previous owner just didn’t have the time for her anymore with his job and his wife’s new job. I was told that he really loved her very much, but I wonder did he know this was a high kill shelter when he dropped her off? Zeena is the sweetest girl. She is 22 months old and full of affection and energy. I was told she was raised with children. She is not good with small animals such as cats and small dogs and would be best as the only dog. She does play with our other rescue Madison but has high resource guarding with other dogs. As far as human contact, she loves it. She loves people and is content to go for a long walk with your or lay on the sofa with you and put her head in your lap for a cozy nap. Her hair is so soft it feels like bunny fur. She is fully vetted. Spayed and UTD on shots.
