This is so completely, 100% true. Look, Facebook is great. For me, its a really awesome way to keep in touch with people that I would have honestly not ever kept up with over the years, distance..whatever...I use it to network with other people in the kite industry or, more recently, crossfit...I shamefully enough use it as a massive redundant backup for all of my photos because I have lost everything in the past (thanks and no thanks digital camera era)...and yes, I use it to express myself...usually when I am feeling really good or inspired or even bored...and its whatever...its entertainment, its a tool, but it isnt reality. What you see on Facebook isnt ME...it might be a part of my life, it might showcase some of the things I am doing, but it is in no way, nor will it ever be ME...So, take the time to watch this video, read the short article and remind yourself that just because you see someone smiling on Facebook, doesnt mean they are living the dream and you arent...If you want to REALLY know about someone, do the uncommon thing and talk to them. sploid.gizmodo/this-is-why-you-shouldnt-take-peoples-lives-in-facebook-1595563358?utm_campaign=socialflow_gizmodo_facebook&utm_source=gizmodo_facebook&utm_medium=socialflow
