This is so desperately important .. We in the UK have known nothing but free (ie paid through our taxes) healthcare, hospital appointments, drs appointments, medicines and surgery.. This is what our American cousins can have to deal with, with a privatised rather than social system of healthcare.. It is just unbelievable. The privatisation of our nhs is happening now .. Catering is privatised, cleaning and now end of life care is being tendered out to private companies. I feel such warmth towards the Americans featured on here.. Such humility and dignity.. Healthcare and profit is a terrible combination :(
