This is the latest of the endless flurry of Gulf swells sending us - TopicsExpress

This is the latest of the endless flurry of Gulf swells sending us side band north swell and fetching toward Cal.People have been asking me how its gonna be for the HIC pro.Not good,to me its not real Sunset on these kind of swells making it easy for small wave surfers to advance ,upsetting the real Sunset veterans who train hard for this..We have a NE pulse today and a second N pulse on Friday, both super close interval, not showing over 8 ft. faces and gusty NE trades. It is what it is with another side bander nnw on Tuesday, nothing over 13 seconds. The high pressure thats been sitting above us since Hurricane Ana came up from the south,is whats messing up the Hawaiian swell track,so as the high pressure moves toward Cal.,its making this wind swell work even harder.Next pic shows a little light at the end of the tunnel at the 138 hr. forecast. But it too has a area of high pressure below it and you can see the swell arrows as it moves a little north to get around it and then its forecast to drop down with the jet stream a few days later, looking like a little more hopeful for groundswell for Hawaii, the cons are; if that high pressure follows underneath it,it will head toward Cal like the rest of these swells. All in all, things to me are looking better for the long term and with my rib injury,Im not missing anything yet. Also you can see the Typhoons acting up again,so hopefully we get some extra tropical activity from it. Aloha.
