The list of rescues of Andjeo Sarajevo: HARPO – Harpo’s stay in the shelter and his therapy is paid up to 25th of this month. We need to collect 120 euros for his shelter and 50 euro for therapy. Total amount needed for Harpo is 170 euro. Harpo is still unfortunately very frightened, considering that people threw stones and fire crackers at him while he was covered in open wounds, it is understandable. His recovery is going great, his hair is completely recovered, but he is still receiving treatment. He is very good in contact with other dogs, but he is frightened of people. The only one who doesn’t scare him is the hand that feeds him and gives him his therapy. He didn’t have contact with cats, so his reaction to cats is unknown.. If someone decides to adopt him, he will require a little bit of time to get adjusted. What can be done for him here is teach him to walk on a leash. PRINCESS & LUCKY – Princess and Lucky’s pension is paid up to 9th of October. We need 150 euros for their shelter and 50 euros for food if they do not find a home. They are so grateful to us that there are no words to describe it. In the pension where they are placed, there are also a lot of cats, and they get along fantastically. They eat everything what is served to them and when a person only talks to them, the waving of the tail doesn’t stop. They are two souls who almost lost their lives and we came across them accidentally and now they are both very happy and grateful… If somebody decides to adopt them together, they will not make a mistake for sure, because they are both mini dogs who will not grow any further and we would really be happy if they could stay together. They love people and children, and also love car rides. ASTOR - Astor has to go to the vet again, only for that we need 50 euro because we have to take him to the clinic. He has temporary accommodation but we need to collect money for his trip.... 695e in total. Event https://facebook/events/710424195647923/ Bijelko is a guardian dog, he defends his territory and protects the hand that feeds him. He is wonderful with people, and after everything that he went through, that is people broke his jaw with a pipe and left him for dead, he doesn’t show signs of trauma or fear of people. He has realized that the people who had hurt him were just an exception of the human race and he still gives all his faith to people. He is wonderful with children as well, but we don’t know his experience with cats. He adores people and for sure he will never let down the hand that feeds him and takes care of him. He is one very good and grateful dog. JELA & kittens – For Jela and kittens 70 euros are needed monhtly for food (cheapest possible) unfortunately asking for some more quality food for them is too much to ask, considering that there are 17 of them plus Jela herself. I don’t know what to do about their vaccines, Boxer is soon about to travel so they will be about 16 left. For Jela’s kittens we need 100 euro monhtly, in order to be able to sometime buy them some vitamin. CASHEL – her pension is paid up to 10.11.2013, she needs vaccination, two vaccines, against disease parasites the 30 euro, she needs to be cleaned from parasites 4 euro and she needs frontline 10 euro. In case she is not adopted til 10.11.2013, she again would need 120 euro to be able to continue her stay at the pension. SCRUFF – her pension is paid up to 10.11.2013, she needs vaccination, two vaccines, against disease parasites the 30 euro, she needs to be cleaned from parasites 4 euro and she needs frontline 10 euro. In case she is not adopted til 10.11.2013, she again would need 120 euro to be able to continue her stay at the pension. In case she is not adopted til 10.11.2013, she again would need 120 euro to be able to continue her stay at the pension, but for her it is also the cream TOBREX also needs to be put on her eyes since she luckily isn’t blind but has an eye infection and is being treated with antibiotics. She needs to be taken to checked routinely by vet. LORA and LANA – two sisters saved from Foca, we have only paid pension for one of them. 120 euros are needed for vaccine, pills and frontline for both. Photos https://facebook/av.mau/media_set?set=a.563498983717000.1073741895.100001707119026&type=1 DOBERMAN AND HER PUPPIES - Weve raised 425e for now for her and her pups, the pension fee for them all is 480e, theyre currently in the KING pension in Sarajevo, aside from this fee they also need money for their first vaccination and for anti-parasite tablets for all 8 of them (mum and 7 pups, unfortunately one died) - this is 90e for their vaccinations which need to be repeated 21 days later, so another 90e for the second vaccinations. They also need money for their booklets and for anti-parasite tablets, the price of one booklet is 4e and one anti-parasite tablet is 1 or 1.5e... We need booklets for them all, thats 32e, plus 10e for the tablets, that means we are missing 277e for now. He is loving and great to everyone. He needs a home also, because unfortunately he is also staying without sponsorship.. DENNIS - Dennis is a dog saved from the HORROR SHALTER in Doboj, hes blind in one eye, he has a possible home but nothing is certain yet because hes missing 20e for his boarding fee, his fee is paid for until 28.10.2013. Then we will need another 120e for the pension fee if he doesnt leave earlier. He also needs 125e for his veterinary care. I don’t know much about him, so I can’t make any guarantees, but I know that when I got him out of that hell hole, he kept kissing me and watching me with his big sad eyes. In the pension he is in a box with one other dog and they get along great. He has no experience with cats, but I believe that he will not let down the hand that cuddles and feeds him.. KIRAN AND TRAUMI Blind Dog UK are taking them but funds needed for travel: https://facebook/events/187207501465123/ KIRAN - a totally blind dog, 175e have been collected for him, this month he has money for pension and for his therapy, but he URGENTLY needs a temporary or forever home. He needs money for his treatment. One of his eyes can be saved according to the vet here, but nowhere else... In Sarajevo it couldnt be... It was pure destiny that we take this road, so that he can live many more years to come. He is such a good little dog, craving for a hand to pet him, desperate for love. He is really good to everyone. He is still a little frightened, but this will not last for much longer. While he was driving with us in the car, he slept the entire time.. He needs someone very special to give him a home, someone who will not be bothered by his deficit, his blindness.. TRAUMI - Small female, weights about 8-10 kg, spayed. Traumi is our not our new case, we saved her about 6 months ago. She was brought to vet clinic by her owners, they wanted to put her to sleep, because Traumi was in their way. Staff from clinic refused to do that instead they called me, Traumi was in my apartment for a while, during that time we noticed that she was blind, which was confirmed by vet. Little Traumi is blind dog. Unfortunately she could not stay because of the my landlord and despite great efforts, no one ever answered to sponsor her adopt her or to provide foster home. Finally we found person to take her I we provide the foo. For the last 5 months of her eyesight improved slightly, still she 100 % blind on one eye and eyesight has slightly improved. Now that person can not provide accomodation for her anymore. Because of her condition, and everything that happened to her, she can live on the street. Please help us to help her. She about a year old, and she is a very small dog.. She is very grateful and good, and gets along great with other dogs. She adores people and riding in a car. She must leave her temporary home and she urgently needs a new home or a sponsor for a pension.. He is wonderful, sweet, gently snowflake.. NOA and BELLA have homes in the USA - Ana Johnson will take them to Washington DC and we are in the throes of organising onward travel (Noa to Buffalo and Bella to LA. We need help with the latter) NOA – Noa’s stay in the shelter is paid up to 29th of this month. We only need one more bottle of antibiotics for her! In the pension where she is placed, there are no cats, but I believe that cats shouldn’t present a problem for her, because she is such a lovely creature full of love for everything. The suffering she went through is hard to forget, but this is why she can’t wait to get to her forever home filled with love. We drove with her a couple of times, and she behaved wonderfully in the car. She would just lie down and enjoy the ride. BELLA- Female, spayed. Everything is paid for Bella up to the 8th of November. Bella – beautiful, and she really is, inside and outside. She is a wonderful and grateful dog. She adores spending time with other dogs and she enjoys the company of people. In the place from which she was picked up, there were a lot of cats, so contact with cats shouldn’t be an issue for her. Also I can safely say that she adores to ride in a car.. Little gold digger. FOOD FOR STRAYS And a very important issue is that we have very many dogs on our streets that are waiting and are dependent on us giving them some food. We need 6 bags of 20kg each monthly, as a minimum and some money/funds for gas. Unfortunately, the shelters are not close for us to walk there, we always have to ask someone to drive us there and even if we find someone who could do it, nobody will do it without getting paid… GYPSY QUARTER Money and donations were raised for a group of people and their children and dogs living in extreme poverty.
