This is the only time that I will post about the Mike Brown case but the color of someones skin is not a reason to jump on a bandwagon. I have yet to see people making Facebook pages protesting gang violence or even supporting our soldiers that fight everyday for our freedom. But yes, let us riot and tear apart a city, let us cause young children and wives to worry about their husbands and fathers everyday that fight for a city that is in turmoil. Excuse me if I feel no sympathy for a criminal that was putting other peoples lives in danger. Mike Brown was old enough to know what is right and what is wrong, so forgive me for not supporting a dangerous criminal with no concept of morality. If people really want to stop violence, educate yourselves. Stop pretending that being a criminal or a gang member is worthy of being a hero. Also in no way does Mike Brown resemble Emmett Till. Emmett Till was killed because he was a black boy in the south that did not know how things worked and what the rules were. He was an innocent child that unfortunately became immortalized in history due to an awful crime committed against him. Mike Brown was a criminal that was careless and chose to make the wrong decision and that is why he died. It was not the police, or some conspiracy in the government, Mike Brown died because of no ones fault but his own. Sorry I am stepping down from my soap box now.
