This is the teaching of grace: "For when we were still without - TopicsExpress

This is the teaching of grace: "For when we were still without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. ... But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." (Rom5:6, 8). There is NO work which grants nor confers right standing before God which the elect had done in order to warrant this gift of salvation: "not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us..." (Titus3:5). It is the work of GRACE: "For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast."" (Eph2:8-9). "Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? Of works? No, but by the law of faith." (Rom3:27). Hallelujay!! Grace to you.
