This is very hilarious, so Mr. Shahbaz Ali chose to be in one argument with me about comments on my picture about sticking to wearing a saree and not showing my skin. My response to it what all know i would respond as. Then to rescue followed a comment we are narrow minded people who like a covered woman , now i suppose that happens only in selected religions to keep a woman clad head to toe (friends i dont want to hurt religious sentiments of any of you, i totally accept it for you) . so my argument heated up with him and i lost my cool. He gave a concluded statement i was talking about Indian culture man...now i seriously feel like banging my head on a wall! 1. Which Indian culture? (There is no singular culture India has! India has different cultures) Please note: culture and mentality are different things! Athiti devo bhava - culture, thieving/molesting/ragging/raping a foreigner or somebody from other state- mentality. 2. Choosing what to follow of the culture, isnt that individual choice? (In eastern India girls in shorts/short dresses common routine/culture out there, girls from Goa too , have you noticed how you oogle at bare legs and heavy bodices with girls from that origin in other parts of India, now please define Indian culture for me!) ( oogling at chicks- mentality NOT culture!, respecting them enough irrespective of their apparel ! Call that culture) 3. Is it fair to cover individual judgment under culture! Indian culture doesnt say not to wear western? Even the comfortable underwear you wear today is western, Indian cultural substitute to that is langot wear that to office under your pants one day. 4. Why cant people have healthy arguments with me? Well i am cent percent sure of my views, are you? 5. Animal sacrifices mandatory in one but a sin in other- leave it just there- culture. Riots on it- mentality. 6. People get amazed me being friends with Africans, its nobodys business right! Well even south Indians have similar skin tones! Dont they! What you make out of your life is completely your choice. Dont be a hypocrite! That way you have short life. All things whether good or bad, even in slightest forms originate from you. Be a genuine centre for the universe. All of it survives on you. I love without bias. I dont care what people look like, no matter what skin, what clothes, what food, what religion, where from! Cz the culture i follow keeps me grounded to realties of same origins of all :) and that is enough :)
