This is........well.....Well just call her Jennifer:). Jennifer has a bit of a drinking problem. Two years sober, but today....she kind of slipped up. We were first introduced to Jennifer at the gate as we were showing our passports. She was the one falling backwards with her paperwork in front of us, just before we boarded our 3 hour flight to Grenada from Miami. With both feet aimed at the sky I helped her up off her back and then moved on down the line to the gate. My wife Desiree, with the use of her keen telepathic powers, had pretty much determined that we had not seen the last of Jennifer. Turns out, as fate would have it, Jennifer would sit next to me the rest of the flight.....the flight attendant had determined (based on the sheer fact that this was the only seat available) that we would be tasked to keep her quiet during the flight. Desi, in switching her seat to the window, had indicated to me that I would be handling most of this assignment on my own..... As the plane began its approach to the runway prior to taking off in Miami, I began to hear the strangest throat noises from Jennifer....she was crying and doing some sort of howler monkey impersonation. Not wanting this to escalate, I gave Desi a look and after getting the nod I was all clear to engage..... All I really said was, Are you okay? And My name is Jeremy. But apparently these were very powerful statements, cause before I knew it she stopped crying, put her head on my shoulder, slid her hand over onto my lap and began holding my hand........ It was at this point I realized my secret calling......I was a drunk chick whisperer. Uncomfortable, I looked over at my wife and in the most G-rated version of this story, she said to me......If she tries to kiss you, Im going to punch her in the face! Fortunately for me (and all of us really) she would spend the next three and a half hours asleep on my shoulder with only an occasional make out session with my arm...... Happy Anniversary Babe:)
