This is what it is all about ! This was in my in box from Nicole Hudson : Praise God ! Conversation started today Lisa Heller : Thank you for your pokes and the meaning/prayers behind them. I cant tell you how encouraging the thoughts behind them have been to me. Today I had to go before my Board (I work for government) along with other Department Heads and tell them my 5 year vision for my department. This 5 year vision included asking to hire another person. In the past, my manager in particular, has told me to just stop asking for someone... Ive been left feeling unsupported and like a failure because my department is not doing all what they could be because there are just way too many things to do. We really do need the help. This visionary meeting is its first kind here. Usually we just say what we are doing, but today we were allowed to freely say what we needed. I went before them and with God helping me was able to communicate that we needed that person and some things in this office to function. After the meeting 2 of the board members came up to me and said I had a very good and compelling reason. They want me to budget for one thing I asked for and are seriously considering hiring us some help!! So you see, those pokes of encouragement, recovery and support are coming to pass!
