This is your Governor being asked a question involving his stance on minimum wage. This is your Governor completely avoiding the question by bringing up something totally irrelevant in an attempt to make the other running party look worse than him? Basically: person: why do you do thing? rick: uh uh THAT OTHER PERSON DOES OTHER THING!! person: but you do- rick: NOPE, IGNORING YOU LALALALA Can we not vote for this guy again? please? Prices increase over time. You cant buy things like milk for a few cents anymore so it makes sense having wages increase to match the increase in cost of living. ..no business which depends for existence on paying less than living wages to its workers has any right to continue in this country. By business I mean the whole of commerce as well as the whole of industry; by workers I mean all workers, the white collar class as well as the men in overalls; and by living wages I mean more than a bare subsistence level-I mean the wages of decent living. -Franklin Roosevelt The minimum wage was made to make sure everyone could live comfortably. If you have a full time job, regardless if its in fast food, retail, in an office etc, you should not be living in poverty. The whole point was to have no poor, that the lowest you could be was middle class. Imagine how thriving our economy would be if everyone in our country was middle class and up. Raise the minimum wage. Dont vote for Rick Scott.
