This isnt ideal, in my opinion. I would still like to see the old marquee restored, have new screens installed, and screen movies. One screen would be dedicated 21 plus and would serve beer and wine. Both screens would have a full dinner option. However, while cinemas like that have survived and thrive, I believe we have the wrong demographic for such a place to truly enjoy the cinema experience. This isnt the worst idea, and Id rather see this than have that amazing historical building sit vacant for more years. I do strongly disagree with merging the two screens into one stage. That building means a lot to me, many a memory was made there. I totally support theatre, and I miss being involved in such programs. I just dont like the idea of loosing a piece of cinema history. Im sure there are better buildings suited for such an endeavor.
