This journey has been such an emotional one. When I had to move back home from Hawaii because of life-threatening complications with my #cysticfibrosis my older brother Todd knew he had to do something. So that year he raised thousands of dollars for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation - Maryland Chapter annual Great Strides Walk for CF by pledging to grow his previously bald hair (1 month for each donation). When he saw that I needed help again, because I had been listed for a Double Lung Transplant at Johns Hopkins Hospital, he stepped up and offered to CUT his hair to raise money to help me with my medical bills and other hefty costs associated with this surgery. Friends and family voted for the haircut he would receive by donating to his #TrimForTransplant campaign. A TRUE sport, Todd included haircuts like Mohawk and Mullet in the running!
