This lady named Razia Samuel is 3o years old. She is disabled from both of her legs due to polio attack at the age of 9. She didnt get vaccination for polio and the polio virus caught her so badly. She got her sewing machine with the help of wish foundation. Here is some experiences of Razia Samuel: As I grow older, I start feeling that I can’t live my life idly. I ask my mother that I want to learn some skill so that I can be a blessing to my family and add a little in our family’s income. My mother advised me to learn stitching because of my physical weakness it would be so hard for me to move out or do something else. By the grace of Almighty we came to know about a welfare organization who were offering a sewing course of three months.So I got three months diploma from that welfare organization. My father somehow manages to buy a second hand sewing machine for me. Life moves on and two of my sisters got married. Five years ago, someone suggests my father that if I get an operation of my legs then I can get to normal and I will no need to use crutches. My father who is a very poor man and a man of God. He loves the Lord so much and believes that it is an indication from the Lord that there are still chances of improvement. So he took me to an orthopaedic and he examined me fully suggests an operation. But he said that the growth of my legs had stopped. My parents thought it would be better if I get operated. Like every parents, they also wanted to see me walking around on my own and living a healthy life. After having my operation at the age of 25, I was hoping for getting good results. But the operation went really bad and blood circulation in my legs almost stopped. Now I can’t even walk comfortably with the help of my crutches and I start using wheelchair. Life gets so difficult for me after having that operation. Once when I was trying to walk with the help of my crutches, one of my legs got fractured. It is such a painful experience for me to move now. I can’t even move with ease. Thankfully I have a skill in my hand that I can stitch dresses. I had a machine which was bought by my father but it is in bad condition now because I am using that machine for a while now. Most of the time it needs to get repair. By the grace of Almighty I have got my new sewing machine with accessories. It has a table and an electric motor too. I am sure it will enhance my work speed. I have got my first ever Bible. So blessed and overwhelmed to receive such precious gift. God is surely so good to His children. I know things have been hard in my life but God was always there for me. He saved my life, gave me a very loving family, my parents who were always in try to make things good for me. It is only by the incredible mercy of my Lord that I have got such an amazing gift of a sewing machine with the help of a brother whom we didn’t know and I believe that God always works behind the scene. He loves me and provided with a good source of income. Thank you for the whole set of sewing machine and the table and electric motor. I am unable to move a lot and this is really comfortable for me to work with. Thank you God for your great love and such deep affection.
