This life is not all there is. I would lay my life down for - TopicsExpress

This life is not all there is. I would lay my life down for that truth. For the people that think Im crazy: Please know that I dont teach lies (I obsessively seek truth and research everything for myself). Nor do I have blind faith in some religion. I ABHOR organized empty religion (Christ wasnt a fan either). I want nothing to do with the institutionalized church system. (Its unbiblical. Read your bible and see). I didnt believe and realize any of this truth until I attempted my first humble prayer out of anguish at age 20. My spiritual journey began because I invited God in. My path to actual biblical TRUTH in relation to todays world events didnt really take off until I left the 501c3 Sunday Funday Church System. I stopped believing what they told me and started reading the bible in depth for myself. What a difference that made. Turning my television OFF 2.5 years ago (and not turning it back on) made a world of difference too. Its a mind control machine. Try a month without it and see for yourself. ;) I am not perfect. I fall short. But Christ loves me. And if His words are true, one should heed them immediately. Christ didnt get spit upon, tortured and nailed to a tree so you could enter into His presence with the common attitude that says being a good person who treated others well and maybe even went to church is enough IF there is even a God or afterlife. Let it be known that Jesus was the only good person. He was the only perfect One. We are sinners (fallen humans who miss the mark of a holy Gods righteous standards). Christs life, death and resurrection gives us life, destroys death, and empowers us to raise with Him at the consummation of the world. This world is almost done. I believe we are the last generation. When you stand before Him and He says depart from me; I never knew you how are you going to feel? We spend more time researching what car to buy than we do investigating the claims of Christ and the validity of Scripture. Is it logical to laugh off a book you never read? Or make assumptions of a man you never knew? No. Take one hour. Have a prayer. Have a look at His life. He looks nothing like what empty religion and Churchianity has portrayed Him as. Seek Him for yourself. Find life. Joy. Peace. Eternity.
