This looks like the SA-7 Grail Shoulder fired anti-aircraft missiles of old soviet design. If so, these are quite easy to counter measure, as it can only zero in on the heat of passing aircraft engines, and once past, chaff dispensers that shoot out of the bottom or side of fixed or rotary aircraft, very hot flares, which easily distractes the homing mechanisms of these old missiles. All US aircraft do this routinely when on a mission. Have to think the 400 missiles are of the old Stingers we gave the Mudjahdene when they were fighting the Russians in Afganastan. Once these game changers were introduced, soviet air operations ceased, and eventually the soviets withdrawed from Afganistan due to this. Yes, I can see our POTUS selling us out to give them to his allies to wage war against the infidels......US.
