This map, referenced by Charles Hapgood many years ago in his "Maps of the Ancient Sea Kings" (1966) was one of the first things that piqued my interest in archaeological finds outside the accepted doctrinal material when I read about it more than 25 years ago. There is something to this beautiful old map that makes it very difficult to categorize. That said, in many cases of archaeological material and opinions there are plenty of hoaxes out there and - sadly - a measurable portion of them are built and maintained by established archaeological/anthropological communities to protect established dogma. Fortunately we have a growing community of scientists, researchers, and writers who are more interested in "digging" for legitimate, supportable ancient history, wherever the evidence takes them. It is a very exciting time for anyone interested in the many amazing and wonderful stories of our past.
