This months project: Hull Food Bank. Several families are struggling to make ends meet and as we head into winter and more is spent on heating, finding money for food will become more of an issue for some families. So with this in mind I am collecting non-perishable food for Hull Food Bank this month. If anyone wants to donate any items I am happy to pick them up and you could really make the difference to a family. It could be as simple as picking up an extra packet of own-brand pasta in your weekly shop. Put quite simply; I dont see why any child in our city should be going without at least one good meal a day (particularly when I have enough food in my cupboards to make even Kate Moss obese). Thanks for any donations- the children I mind will be helping with this project as theyre also learning about Harvest and where food comes from. xx
