This morning, District Police officers responded to the Shima 1 bus stop on the Stockton campus of San Joaquin Delta College. A bus driver was reporting a male causing a disturbance on the bus. Officers arrived and removed (S)Rolando Ambrosio Martinez (53, Stockton) from the bus. Following his removal, Martinez walked out into traffic an attempted to coerce a vehicle into hitting him. He also appeared to be under the influence. Officers transported Martinez to the District Police department, where he head butt an officer during processing. Martinez was restrained and arrested for assault on a peace officer, public intoxication, and providing false identification. After processing, he was transported to San Joaquin County Jail, where he was booked into custody.
