This mornings spectacular nugget of information, courtesy of my dear friend Adi Niv Renbaum: 52% of all American Jews say they dont believe in god. Wow, huh? Of those non-believers, interestingly, 75% still attend a seder every year. That description fits me perfectly, though Im not among the 60% who still fast on Yom Kippur. Im too old and cranky now. A rabbi once told me that atheism was just another kind of Judaism, and I didnt understand him at the time. Im starting to get it now, though, for sure.
