This mum would be appreciate hearing how you balance time with two little ones... Hello. I wondered if any advice could be offered. My husband and I have been seeking to adopt attachment parenting philosophies in the care of our 3 month old. I regularly babywear to give her the closeness and comfort she seems to need. She is exclusively breastfed and generally very contented; however she will only settle with me and appears rather distressed when not with me or when I am out of sight for any period of time. Whilst I appreciate this is normal as part of her adjusting to life outside the womb, I am really struggling to get a happy balance to enable me to spend time with our four year old. She started school in September and time after school and at weekends is precious; however despite using the baby wrap I am struggling to spend time playing with her. Our littlest one is sleeping through the night but will only allow me to settle her meaning I dont get to put our oldest to bed. Lots to be thankful for but any advice or suggestions would be gratefully received. Many thanks.
