This needs to happen. Imagine being able to get to NYC in under 2hrs via train. Yes, initial costs and setbacks will be large, but it is worthwhile to promote and push this type of technology to the forefront to reduce its costs down the road and streamline the procedures/maintenance routines. Gas is $4 a gallon. Airline travel is becoming less spacious and more expensive every year. Its time we took the plunge and made this small step towards a better and more efficient infrastructure.
