This past fall I got to witness another youth get hooked on hunting. Our neighbor girl (13 years old) went duck hunting for the first time with her father, my husband, my son, and my father-in-law. She had such a blast, she decided to give deer hunting a try this year also. And now, she cannot wait for next season! She went hunting off of this property in Sebewaing donated by the Whitlock family. Her dad works during the day, and gets home with just a couple short hours of hunting time left in the day. If this property wasnt available, he would have missed out on the great bonding experiences he had with his daughter, and if this transaction goes through he may miss out on many in the future. The sad thing that may result....we may lose another future hunter. If you want to keep hunting alive the youth need to have a place to hunt.
