This past year has been one of the hardest for my family! Ive endured some pretty emotional battles. Not proud of the things that Ive done and the ways Ive hurt some of the ones I love deeply! There are so many people in this world that deal with different battles and still thankful for the little things that they still have. Even though Ive lost my husband, my family and some of my closest friends, im still here and able to be surrounded by my three beautiful healthy children!!! Christmas isnt about who can buy the most expensive gifts but about feeling loved!! I have lost my medical insurance and work a retail job to help with my bills. Its not my dream!!! My dream is to see the love and joy in my childrens eyes when we are spending time together and laughing!! My 10 yr old said he understood that this year he wouldnt get too many things for his bday and Christmas but he was thankful that Jesus loves him enough to give him a mommy and daddy that still love him!!! For me that was the only gift I needed this Christmas!! Theres not enough money to provide exspensive gifts for my children, but I can give them what Christ gave me Love, Joy and forgiveness! Lets not forget what Christmas is really about!
