This post should have been uploaded yesterday but I was just too sick and the internet was too slow I have found it very difficult to sleep the past two nights - I couldnt breathe as it felt like Im being strangled. No it was not a nightmare, I know how those work. Its swollen tonsils. So this morning I decided to take a look on the mirror and they looked really bad. Check the picture. Infection it seems. So I took a picture and send to my fabulous doctor who sent a prescription by email. Mr P and I were ready to walk to the pharmacy but when we called our hotel reception Chrisoula said she will sort it out. In five minutes the medication was delivered to our suite. I was mightily impressed. Here is the thing about this hotel, they seem to be working with an assumption that if you stay at their hotel then you deserve the royal treatment. You dont have to be or look wealthy but they just assume that you can afford their service. This is very different from the treatment/service I got when I stayed at the Sheraton in Vancouver, Canada in July. Like many places back home, they just looked at me and then made an assumption that I do not deserve good service or I cannot afford it and so they treated me with suspicion all the way deducting money from my Visa card every night. Anyway I dealt with that and it is sorted but just wanted to emphasize that one more reason why I like this place. Anyway, I had the medication and now am sleeping. Its raining today so when I get up I will start working. Yes even in paradise we still have to make time for a little bit of work
