This prayer has been on my heart today...if the shoe fits, please join me...well pray it for one another. Father-God, thank you for being my father. In the midst of all the joy and blessing You are lavishing upon me, I occasionally fall back into the old teachings of my youth and wonder if Im good enough to deserve to be your daughter. Lord, please remove those teachings of the past from my continuum of beliefs...let them lay dead upon the steps and enter the sanctuary of my home no more. Let me never be a hostage to false teaching, or its discouragement. I pray that as the remaining years of my life unfold, I will grasp how much time there remains for love, laughter, tears and accomplishment. Help me awaken each day and hour with energy and purpose. Make me driven for more understanding and communion with YOU, Creator. Lift my tiredness and give it wings. I pray that in the morning I will arise and be who I really want to be and am created by you to be. Thank you for making me the gift. May whoever you have chosen to receive it have the discernment to accept it. Thank you for this joyous and peaceful time in my life...may it source the strength to walk the paths remaining. Nothing is impossible with you, dear Lord. AMEN in Jesus
