This really is disgusting ... and not for the reason you probably think. Oh yes, it is alarming that such a threat at a big sporting event is even possible as just a few short years ago it would have been unheard of ... that in and of itself is a sad commentary on the state of Americas position in the world ... and yes, that disgusts me. What I find most disgusting about this however, is that the words Al Qaeda Magazine are as casually flung upon the typeset of such a prominent U.S. media venue as New Yorker Magazine or Sports Illustrated Magazine or Time Magazine. Really? They have a frigging magazine? Al Qaeda has a magazine? Are you kidding me? What ... jihadist daddy sits at the table and flips through the pages of Al Qaeda Magazine while mommy cleans her AK-47 the kids slurp up bowls of Cheerios and watch Bugs Bunny cartoons? They have a frigging MAGAZINE??? What does that say about our security? Seems to me that - if they really do have a magazine - a phalanx of door kickers should have been deployed to the publisher about 20 minutes after the rag hit the news stands. Which would be the right word to describe our FBI, CIA and Homeland Security? Complacent ... or ... complicit?
