This resonates pretty well with what we learnt from Malawi traditional establishment and the communities they lead in Lake Chilwa Basin - Zomba/ Chitipa transboundary project in the North. Yes, if you link management of natural resources with livelihoods - then people are more encouraged to act because they see the benefit. Integrated yet, Systematic documentation by the people is an essential ingredient for sustaining the response. Happy! Oooh.
