This set me thinking whole night: a young man shared with me that he was taken aback that an informal poll in his own class revealed that less the 3 men (including himself), most of the guys are open to house-husband/ willing to take an active role in homemaking at some point of time. This convo helped to strengthen my stance in actively aquire homemaking skills. The modern family of today and tomorrow should not be run like an enterprise. We cant stick to making more revenue (more household moolah) and outsource our way out of building a home/raising a child. The old approach to reinforce traditional gender roles in a home is passe. I might be a little late, but I am very glad I got started.
