This show has ZERO continuity!! I am semi-hate watching The Good Wife now waiting for Alicia to get her butt handed to her on a platter for betraying Will. And for Peter to do something stupid again and have it blow up in her face. Apparently many people love the direction of the show and last nights episode was certainly engrossing. I just wish they actually explained WHY Alicia is still with Peter, because theres no logical reason for it except for his political power - that he has because of her support. I have no problem with her forgiving him, but LOVING him again after what he did to her and she had Will save her life and career? No. They should call the show the STUPID Wife, because in this case Good = Full-blown memory loss and tunnel vision of some kind of fantasy life. I can see why Cary wanted to leave and start a firm with Alicia - although his animosity towards her in the beginning of the series is all but forgotten. Kalinda has been relegated to the sidelines and Im still thinking it has something to do with real-life power plays behind the scenes of the show as Archie Punjabi won an Emmy that first season and stole every scene she was in. Anyway, the only other interesting aspect of the show is behind the camera with writer/producer Nichelle Tramble adding some balance. She and Monica Breen (who writes and produces for Agents of SHIELD) are a handful of black women writers besides Shonda working on hit series right now. vulture/2013/10/good-wife-recap-season-5-alicia-fired.html
