This song is silly, sweet, and romantic in its own quirky way. There is a sweetness of honey made from the bee, but sometimes the sting of love that swells the heart can cause so much pain. Its good that honey acts like a salve that counteracts what pain love can bring. When I picture this I think of what Christ did for me. His coming was likened to sweet honey, and the sting of death for His love for me was the ultimate salve for the reason He breathed His holy breath into me that is my soul. All want to experience love, and at some point with love will come pain. Whether it is the pain of watching a loved one with illness. A child being born , through the pain of birth. A child moving away from home. A death that ends that time together on earth. A love that is torn by separation. Love can endure through many trials and tribulations . It can withstand all things when it is woven and secured by God.
