This song (one of my most favorite of the many thousands I have bought over the decades) seems remarkably appropriate as I consider the year ahead, in the wake of all the family and friends whom I have loved and lost, those whom I have failed and said goodbye to both for their peace and mine, all those whom I hold dear and always in my thoughts, and the one who gave me this life and whom I have likely failed most of all but never for want of trying passionately. But as in all things in my life, I never give up and as I enter another year that I never thought Id be a part of, I am incredibly grateful and so very humbled to recall all those whom I left behind, their faces and their hearts and their spirits I recall in this remarkable song by Eric Woolfson, my favorite songwriter who passed beyond this Earth in 2009...
