This time 3 years ago I moved to the DC. In that time I have learned to love myself...accept myself despite my upbringing and religious beliefs. In doing so I have distanced myself from organized religion not necessarily by choice, but by weakness I suppose. Not having the courage to accept the looks or questions and Im ashamed that I let people come between me and my God in that manner. Although we still have an amazing relationship I miss worshiping, singing and praising together with others who share the same love that I have...I miss that family. This morning Mr. Michael Eric Dyson was speaking at Rakin Chapel broadcasted by 96.3. The first words I heard was gay and lesbian so I listened shaking my head anxiously awaiting to be told about going to Hell and what have you. Boy was I put in my place...this man managed somehow to make me feel like a normal Christian again. Like it is okay for me to love God, which I havent felt in a long time. Like all my good morals indeed havent been canceled out because I am crazy in love with a woman. Feels good to be back in the saddle on a Sunday morning. On that note, its time for some baseball... Lets Go Os!!!!
