This video is of the process of completing my latest sculpture. This concrete sculpture is of Brian Tinker, lover of music, dance, nature and much more. Mason and Kaycee Maxwell helped Diane and I deliver and set up the statue this morning! I met Brian today and was pleased to see that I did capture Brians face within the sculpture. I was especially pleased to hear Brian say that he could see himself in the art as well. Diane and I visited with Allan and Brian Tinker through much of the morning and afternoon. I had not met Brian until today but have thought of him much from February until now as I studied every aspect of the photos that I used as reference while working on the sculpture. I was sad to see the sculpture of Brian leave my shop but I am very happy with the new location! The sculpture is now displayed in beautiful rural McClusky in Brian and Allans yard on a hill side overlooking a beautiful slough with pelicans, geese and ducks. I look forward to the next time that I will have the honor to spend some time with Brian and Allan!
