This video shows what your grip should look like, the order you should use to place your hands on the club and where the club should be placed in the fingers. The grip I use is the overlapping or Varden grip. The position of the hands is just the same if you use the interlocking grip or the baseball grip. My belief is that the grip is the most Important thing all golfers should learn and practice. Not only is it your only point of contact with the club, but it is your control of the club face and where it points through impact. It helps with distance, direction and ball flight. Your grip should be the same no matter which club you use except maybe your putter. Have a watch of the video and comment if you would like any further advice.
