This was always the most convincing story of a documented alien-visitation to me if ever there was one: for one thing the aliens do not fit the description of what people commonly agree to be what aliens look like (the greys), and why would they? Something this out of the norm would eventually have peoples stories not adding up, but never once did it falter. Secondly the people that did see them (including children) all agree on what they saw. The case affected a whole town. Third- eventually the family wished to remain anonymous as peope kept pouring in from out of town- why would someone wish to fall off the map had it only been for exposure and slight monetary gain? Fourth- strange objects had been reported flying in neighboring cities and states shortly prior to this. Fifth- it wasnt an abduction. Honestly- if a species is capable of traveling millions of light years why do they want to abduct some redneck and experiment on his wiener? Surely they would know how the birds and the bees worked and even if they were interested they would find a more exemplary subject.
