This was my brother, he was suffering from a bi-polar disorder with lapses of schizophrenia and we were trying to get him to my house in Oregon so that I could get him to a hospital. The reason he started the fire was to keep warm, because the station itself was closed. The officer likely scared him into resisting arrest as he was extremely closter phobic and fearful of being locked in cells. All of these people who think this shooting was justified are nuts. He was wrestling with a K-9 probably because it was violently attacking him just before the cops shot and killed my brother. This is a huge case of police brutality and unprovoked shooting. This will not go unanswered and a full investigation is underway with the probability of a very heavy handed lawsuit to all parties involved.
