This was the start of something wonderful for these kids. Our very first fundraiser. We stood outside Shaws for many weekends freezing our butts off wrapped in blankets raffling off a Thanksgiving dinner. We picked a winner, but one particular name stood out to the kids (a family who only had $.80 to give, but we had them fill out a ticket anyway). Each one of the kids looked at the ticket and remembered the name and address on that ticket well when we picked the winner they asked if we could pick another name and have two winners, of course I said yes the kids looked for and found the ticket they had all looked at (studied). When i called the family and told them they had won the excitement on the other end confirmed what I already knew, how wonderful these three kids are. I delivered the box filled with everything you need to have a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner the look on that familys face was so worth it and they appreciated it so much. (Just thought I would tell alittle about the pic) These kids have worked so hard. I am very proud of all of you and love you all!!
