This week FB family would like to ask you to pray for several kids who are not feeling well not only physical but emotionally. Mercy, Barasa, Pendo, Sharlene, Njoroge and Abednego. These children are the oldest in the ward and at times it is hard for them to comprehend what they go through everyday. You look at their faces and see fear at times the best you can do is try and make their day. Spoke to Mercy since she looked so worried and low and tears started flowing from her eyes. She had a headache but one could see that was not all. Later Barasa and Sharlene joined and we talked abit of the fear they face daily. They listened but none said anything but at least there was calmness after. I asked myself if i made any sense to them thinking that i know what they go through but honestly i felt like i wish i knew what they face daily, maybe then i would say the correct words. All we can do is just pray and ask God to give the courage and strength as they battle. His love for the children is more than we can ever imagine. Any parent reading this no matter what your child goes through just know God is faithful and He will always give you peace and grace to face each day. The peace He gives these children is a great lesson for us. May He continue to sustain your strength everyday. Great news Naramat went home after almost 4years at the hospital, Caleb is doing amazing and now he can communicate abit, Ivy and Hafid went home too. The rest of the children are doing great and also remember to pray for Linet and Odthiambo who are down too their appetite is not very good. Remember every parent, the nurses and all the volunteers who give their time to the children. It is not easy but pray that God will always give them wisdom and grace to be His voice of love and comfort to the children. Thanks for your prayers just know they are not invain.
