This week I would like us to unpack this Word: John 1: 1- 4 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. Before there is, Word is. I want us today to view this verse differently. Before things will come into being / come into existence in your life, your words are. This means that: 1. You speak first. 2. You then live what you speak. This passage here says “in the beginning was the Word…” Your words have the power to create the life that you want. Your words have to power to attract and/ or draw things into your life that you desire. If you desire money – speak money. If you desire marriage – speak marriage. If you desire complete health – speak health. Whatever that you desire – Speak it! The Bible also says in Proverbs 18: 21” Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof. In this life, you either choose to live or you choose to die, simply by speaking. And if you know the power that you possess with your tongue you will be able to live the life you desire (they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof) Bad news is, you now cannot blame anybody else for all the wrong things that happens/ goes wrong in your life because you have been given the authority to change it with your words. Now Jesus said in Matthew 12: 36 -37, “But I say unto you, that every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the Day of Judgment. For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned” The worst or the best thing that will ever happen to you is that YOU WILL EITHER BE JUSTIFIED OR CONDEMNED BY YOUR WORDS. Choose your words wisely today, as they will either build you up or destroy you. One thing I have learnt in this life is that the only access and legal right the enemy can ever have in my life is determined by the measure of power I give him through the words that I speak. If I say ‘I am down today’ the enemy (as my accuser) acts on what I have said and use every resource he has to get me down and stay down. But I also know that if I speak LIFE (the Word of God) into my life, God has also assigned angels to perform that (His) spoken Word into existence. Now I always imagine that if I don’t speak anything good in my life, I am actually demoting the assigned angels for my life, because they actually have no job to do until I give them one-by speaking the Word of Life! (That is quite a scary thought for me...) It is important what you speak fellows. If you keep on saying; you’re broke, you’re heartbroken, nobody loves you, you have bad luck, you won’t succeed, you’re having a bad day, etc… Guess what, ‘YOU’RE ACTUALLY ARE!!!’ And if you keep on saying; I am rich, I am loved, I am beautiful, I have made it, etc… Even if it doesn’t seem like it in the physical but let me tell you, in the spiritual realm something is changing. And one day when you least expects love finds you, money finds you, promotion finds you, great and successful businesses come knocking your door… You will experience so much of Life in abundance and the blessing of God that you will have to enlarge your territories in order to have enough storeroom for this abundance! After learning so much truth, I have made up my mind to speak great things upon my life every day; it has actually become a habit that I just can’t live without! I can’t help myself but to create goodness all around me. And amazingly people think I have changed. They give me different reasons of ‘what could have brought this change in my life’. Some say it must be the age (the older you get, the more wiser you become, LOL), some say it’s the job, some say it’s the church, some say this, some say that, a lo t of funny stories I have been told that has caused so much change they say. But the honest simple truth is that I have decided to change the way I speak about myself, my situations, my life, etc. And I have to admit, things have become a lot easier, much lighter, and quite interesting in the past years… Change your language friends, choose the type of words you speak from today and change your life forever!! Now after all this, let me take the first opportunity to speak the Words of Abundant Life upon your life: You are Blessed and Highly Favoured. You are the Royal Diadem in the hands of the Lord. Goodness and Mercy are stalking (following) you wherever you go. Your name is no longer Forsaken but as from today you are now Hephzibah (meaning the Lord delights in you) Your land is no longer called Desolate but as from today it is called Beulah (meaning married to God). Your best is yet to come. Your latter shall be greater. Expect a Rain of blessing that will last a life time. Everything that has been devouring your life has stopped as from today. You are wealthy. You are rich. Your health is restored. Your family is restored. Your joy is restored. You have peace that supersedes all human understanding. You are debt free. Promotion is looking for you. The Spirit of the Lord is bringing your mate to you. Sickness has lost your address. Death doesn’t recognize you. No calamity will ever come your way. A thousand will fall at your right hand side, and ten thousand at your left but none of the wickedness shall come near your tent. No weapon (wicked words spoken to you, or any form of device) formed against you that shall prosper. That is your inheritance. You will live to declare the works of the Lord. You will live till old ripe age and yet be as strong and as alive as a young lion, and still bear fruit. You will be blessed until the blessed calls you blessed. With the power of our tongue, we can literally speak into existence the life we want. And we can literally use this power to create anything we want in our lives. Enjoy your day Friends..
