This week marks the 1 year anniversary that the so called leaders of Pueblo, Colorado decided to forgo the recommended clean up of lead and arsenic contaminated soil from the Eilers and Bessemer neighborhoods. Note that they still remain silent even after a recent study showed that 5 of approximately 30 children of the area evaluated were shown to have what is considered toxic levels of lead in their blood. Please contact the Pueblo City Council and tell them that enough is enough. They need to do their job and stop looking for a politically correct scapegoat. If they think anyone from outside the area is going to be attracted to moving their business into a community that has been proven to be contaminated with toxic waste, they need to take a trip outside of the borders of Pueblo and have a few conversations.
