In today’s fast past world and the advanced technology that is available to us we can be better informed and prepared than ever before. Here are just a few ways that citizens can gain helpful information. •TV and Radio stations. •NOAA All Hazards Alert Radios. •Social Media. •Internet. Today we will talk about TV and Radio. Almost everyone in today’s world has a favorite TV or Radio station that they trust to receive quality and up to date information. A lot of times the TV/Radio news programs can give you more of a detailed explanation of what exactly is going on in your area. Most of today’s news media all have Smartphone Apps that you can set to alert you when something major is happening around you. Some of them can be set to alert you to everything going on around the world or you can fine tune it to only alert you to things that are happening locally. The choice is yours!! If you do not have a local TV/Radio outlet that you currently rely on we highly encourage you to research each TV/Radio media outlet in your area until you find one that fits your needs.
