This weekend, Nov 8, 9, and 10th is SCOUTING FOR FOOD. This is an event to raise the supplies at local food pantries and soup kitchens. Boys, girls, Daisy, Brownie, and cub scout groups will be canvassing towns, cities etc looking for donations of canned goods. The top ten items needed are canned meats, canned hearty soups like chili, peanut butter, pasta and sauce, canned fruit, vegetables, powdered potatoes, canned milk etc. You can donate 2 ways: 1. Troop 610 will be holding a vigil in front of St Patricks church from 6pm Friday to 9:30am Sunday morning. Drop the goods off anytime! They will be camping out. 2. The cub scouts will be at Hannafords Plaza on Saturday, 11/9/13 collecting food and cash donations!
