This whole Paula Dean thing astounds me. First, she tells you how to become diabetic with delicious food. Then she tells you how to have the same food healthily when she is diagnosed with the same disease. Then she admits to these audio clips from 20 years ago ...the Rodney King beating and the L.A. riots were 2 years before she said this... sounds like a life-time of bad decisions. I think people look aside because she is grandmotherly. How do you think Micheal Richards and Mel Gibson feel hearing the support she is receiving. Paula Dean is NOT your nana... she is a world-wide t.v. personality who is responsible for her actions. Just the same as any of us, were we to say this at our place of work. Good recipes are all over the place. Morality should be too.
