This year in December marks nineteen years of my service for children with disabilities or Special ED. My degree is very rare or no one has a degree like tis which is Liberal studies in developmental disabilities and Assessment....But i only make 24 thousands a year....I did a lot for my department.....here is a list as follows: -Hearing screening for all American Samoa including Manua all by myself approved a lot of Teachers in receiving their Masters -Head of The assessment team for two years and stepped down cause of the passing of my father. I also brought down standardized testing for the severe and for the Learning disabled kids that cant that cant make in levels. Particularly in math and reading..... My complaint is that they should take my credentials into consideration .....As of now I am at Pava and I serve eight kids....I nearly cried when two parents came in and said their sons have improved a lot...My inspiration to teach and become an effective one as it is, is from my dear father who started out as a teacher.....I will keep this profession for the sake of ou kids and students of American Samoa. Ao se reclassification foi poo se pay raise......what ever happened to our increments?
