Thomas Returns Media Release by Motorsports Promotions After an absence from the driving seat Joel Thomas has made a successful return to the Modified Sedan ranks in Rockhampton with a close second in his first hit out in his old VS Commodore. Thomas couldnt wait to get back into competitive racing after a run in Matt Thomas car a few weeks back at Maryborough. Thomas went about purchasing his old VS commodore back and showed he has lost none of his ability by placing 2nd in his first run back in the car. Thomas now look to a full assault on one of Australias biggest Modified races the XXXX Australian Open at Fraser Shores Maryborough Speedway on the 27th and 28th of December. After Rockhampton Thomas took the car back to the J & M Racecraft headquarters for a full once over before the decision was made to nominate for the XXXX Australian Open. You can be sure after the car has been through the J & M workshop nothing will be left to chance and both Thomas and the Commodore will arrive at Maryborough better prepared than anyone else. Although Joel will arrive at the open without much seat time he will be one of the guys to watch. Thomas displays both speed and consistency both crucial factors needed to take home.
