Those of you close to us both know that my friendship with Rob Elba has been rocky at best. However, recently, as we prepared for the Rat Opera, its clear that he and I can no longer work together, nevermind be friends. While Ive enjoyed collaborating with him over the years, and weve had some good times, I simply cant work with his fascist creative constraints and sniping. I tried speaking to him about it, but it did not go well, and believe it or not, we may wind up in litigation. Anyway, suffice to say, I wont be at this weeks RO rehearsals.
