Those of you staunchly defending John Jinapor do not understand - TopicsExpress

Those of you staunchly defending John Jinapor do not understand the import of my article, with all humility. He said the "battle for 2016 starts today" and you think he means development? Did you just arrive from Jupitor? Or you are mistaking Mr Jinapor for a politician in America or Europe. My article simply says our politicians should talk about and ceoncentrate on solving the developmental challenges and not focus on the next election. So if Mr Jinapor is talking about the battle for 2016, what does he mean? Is 2016 the deadline for the Millennium Development Goals? Is it the deadline for the elimination of schools under trees? Is 2016 the year President Mahama has assured us that potable drinking water will cease to be a luxury? Is 2016 the year when we will see the end to corruption and institutionalized robbery in our country? 2016 is about elections and we know what it means when our politicians talk about a battle for it. Let us get real and hold our politicians and leaders accountable. I owe Mr Jinapor no apology. We all complain about how messy our situation is, yet we are quick to defend those who must lead us to fix them. How can we move forward ?
